Testimonials

I recently spent a two night, three day self directed retreat at Maryville Retreat Center. The entire campus offers a beautiful experience full of serenity and peacefulness. The sisters were loving, kind and thoughtful. Mass was available and brought great meaning to my experience. Sister Anna was so friendly and helpful along with Nick the director of the center. I didn’t want to leave as my spirit felt renewed and refreshed. I will return for a longer visit. Thank you for a blessed retreat!

-Cecilia

Maryville Retreat Center is amazing! The staff WARMLY welcomed our group and Nick went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure we had an unforgettable experience! Some of our group stayed overnight in St. Felix Lodge. The facility is clean and provides a great respite from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are immaculate and there are many activities available. Our meals were delicious and overall it was just a wonderful visit. We’re looking forward to coming back again next year!

-Vikki

Maryville hosted our group’s art retreat, and we could not have asked for a better place. We were welcomed like family and treated like VIPs. All of our group’s dietary concerns were addressed with care, and the staff were extremely attentive and swift to respond to any of our requests, both before and during our stay. It is clear that a lot of investment and care has gone into the accommodations and the grounds. We have already booked for next year, as we wholeheartedly loved our time there. Thank you so much!

-Chisato

I stayed at Maryville for a quiet weekend ahead of my 50th birthday. It was perfect. The buildings and grounds are in great shape and well maintained. The staff is very pleasant. The food is excellent. I stayed in the one-bedroom hermitage and everything you might need was provided – linens, towels, coffee, etc. Be sure to bring your own snacks and water bottle. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the house. Meals are available in the nearby retreat center and the sisters are a delight. The grounds and lake are beautiful. It was a peaceful stay!

-Rebecca

The sheets are soft, the blankets and comforters are clean and crisp. You have a ceiling fan and adjustable air conditioning and heat along with a nice bathroom with all the necessities. The beautiful chapel is a tranquil holy place where you really feel gods presence. The staff is amazing, Sister Noel is a gem and they really want your stay to be perfect.
