A Meaningful Lenten Gathering for Prayer and Renewal

Lent invites us to slow down, turn our hearts toward God and renew our commitment to prayer, community and compassion. Maryville Retreat Center’s Lenten Mass and Brunch offers a meaningful and joyful way to pause during this sacred season—bringing people of all ages together for worship, fellowship and simple celebration.

This gathering is a gentle invitation to come pray, come gather and be nourished—spiritually and communally. Whether you are seeking quiet reflection, family connection or a thoughtful way to mark the season, this morning at Maryville offers space to breathe, reconnect and carry renewed hope into the weeks ahead.

Begin the Morning with Mass and Fellowship

Begin the morning with a Lenten Mass at 9:30 a.m., grounding your weekend in prayer and reflection. Following Mass, stay and enjoy a festive brunch and lighthearted children’s activities at 10:30 a.m., creating space for families and friends to connect in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

A Family-Friendly Lenten Event

This gathering is ideal for individuals, couples and families looking to experience Lent not only as a season of sacrifice, but also as a time of shared faith, encouragement and hope. Maryville Retreat Center welcomes people of all ages and faith backgrounds to step away from the busyness of daily life and experience renewal in a peaceful, prayerful setting.

Optional Overnight Mini-Retreat Opportunity

Overnight accommodations are available the night before (Friday, March 20) for $50 per room (maximum of two adults and two children under age 10; children should bring sleeping bags), making it easy to turn your visit into a restful mini-retreat.
