An Invitation to Pause and Listen
Many of life’s most important questions don’t arrive with clear answers. Whether you are discerning a vocation, navigating a transition or wondering what God may be inviting you into next, this Discernment Retreat: Following Your Heart’s Desire offers space to pause, listen and seek clarity.
Retreat Leadership and Experience
Led by Sister Judith Marie Blizzard, CSSF and Father Edward Nowak, CSP and set within the peaceful surroundings of Maryville Retreat Center, this weekend retreat is designed for women and men who desire intentional time with God. Through prayer, reflection, spiritual conversation and gentle guidance, participants are invited to explore how God speaks through their deepest desires, longings and questions.
Rather than providing quick answers, the retreat creates room for attentiveness—to God’s presence, to inner movements of the heart and to the wisdom that emerges when we slow down. With personal accompaniment and shared reflection, participants will be guided through practical tools for discernment that can be carried into everyday life.
Accommodations
Single-occupancy accommodations are available in the Main Center, Clare’s Cove or the Hermitage, allowing for rest, quiet and personal reflection throughout the weekend.
A Sacred Setting
Maryville Retreat Center is a sacred place of renewal and encounter, nestled in the natural beauty of Holly, Michigan. Here, away from the noise and demands of daily life, participants are invited to rest, reflect, and trust that God meets us in the questions as faithfully as in the answers.
